Theoretical Background

Ori Ganot is a talented young man with learning disabilities who found difficulties in school. He discovered the world of baking as a way to express his creativity and develop his skills.

Ori loves baking cakes and desserts very much, and greatly enjoys the challenge and satisfaction of the pastry world.

In the modern era, more and more consumers are seeking unique and authentic products with a human story behind them. Strong branding can help Ori convey his inspiring story and highlight the love and dedication he invests in his products. Of course, I agreed, and we thought together about how to brand his endeavors.

Logo Choice

Ori’s nickname is Orico, and we chose to use this name in English for the logo: “ORICO”.

For the letter O, we created a round cookie shape with a bite taken out of it, with small crumbs falling from it.

The Idea Behind the Design:

  1. The name “ORICO” catches attention and conveys a message of professionalism and brand quality.
  2. The bitten cookie in the letter “O” signifies the cake/cookie baking domain and adds a striking, convincing visual element.
  3. The falling crumbs symbolize the freshness and authenticity that characterize Ori’s products.
  4. The simple, striking logo design conveys a message of creativity, honesty, and high quality.

The colors we chose to incorporate are shades from his most famous cake, the “Tricolorous” mousse cake – hues of mocha brown, white, and pink to convey a warm, homey feeling. The design font is clean and readable with a rounded, inviting version.

Overall, this logo is expected to convey Ori’s warm, human character and his fresh, delicious cookies while projecting a message of professionalism and quality.

Target Audience

Ori’s target audience is broad and general – different groups celebrating events, home baking enthusiasts, and those seeking products with a special human story behind them.
